Product description
The HK9 microwave measuring device is based on advanced microwave technology and enables fast and precise measurement of the bulk density and moisture of bulk goods and bales on conveyor belts. It transmits a low-power electromagnetic wave via an antenna into the measured product (such as paper, tobacco, sand, etc.), which propagates depending on the dielectric properties of the product. A second antenna receives the transmitted wave (transmission). The power of this wave is used to determine the water content or bulk density of the product.
Thanks to its fast response time and stable microwave measurement, the HK9 is suitable for continuous process monitoring in production. It is calibrated by the user-friendly Specter9 software, which enables simple and effective handling.
