HK8 mini
The HK8-mini NIR-H2O-Meter is a compact and powerful solution for continuous moisture measurement in liquids, specially developed for use in pipes, tanks or for non-contact measurements in confined spaces. It uses unique NIR LED technology for precise measurement of water or dry substance (TS) content and offers high stability in measurement, even under difficult conditions.

Product description
The HK8-mini is a further development of the tried and tested HK8 and was specially developed for measuring the water or dry matter content in liquids in pipes and containers. Thanks to the NIR LED technology, the device is extremely stable and durable, which enables a service life of up to 10 years.
The sensor of the HK8-mini can be immersed directly into the product when installed via a flange connection in large pipes or containers. Alternatively, the device can measure without contact through a viewing window, which enables installation in difficult environments. The viewing window can be made of either borosilicate glass or sapphire glass to meet the various requirements of the application.
If the space conditions on a conveyor belt do not allow the installation of the standard HK8 sensor, an HK8 mini sensor with the same performance data can be used.
The device offers precise measurement of water or dry matter in various liquids and pasty products. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide variety of products, such as mozzarella, curd cheese, butter in the dairy industry and stock consistency in the paper industry.
