The HK3 LED-NIR spectrometer is the ideal solution for continuous online measurement of two organic components, based on the latest NIR LED technology. It enables precise measurements without mechanically moving components and is particularly suitable for measuring coarse bulk solids.

Product description
The HK3 LED NIR spectrometer uses NIR LED technology based on the reflection principle for the continuous measurement of organic components. The modular design enables flexible installation, whereby the distance between sensor and evaluation unit can be up to 50 meters. This technology enables an extremely stable measurement that is unaffected by color differences or surface irregularities of the product.
Compared to conventional IR or NIR systems, the HK3 is significantly more robust and durable, as it works without color filters, filter wheels or halogen lamps. It guarantees a measurable improvement in stability and a long service life of up to 10 years. A particular advantage is that the device does not experience any measured value deviations due to lamp ageing and there are no effects from color changes on the product. In addition, even coarse bulk materials and products with uneven surfaces can be measured precisely.
The HK3 is particularly reliable and maintenance free. Calibration of the device is simple and efficient with the Specter3 software, and up to eight calibrations can be stored in the device.
What sets the HK3 apart
Unique NIR LED technology
The NIR LEDs offer long-term stable measurement and eliminate the usual drifting of the measured value that often occurs with traditional NIR systems.
Modular design for flexibility
The sensor system and evaluation unit are housed in separate enclosures so that the sensor system can be installed up to 50 meters away from the evaluation unit. This enables flexible integration into various production lines.
Precision even with difficult surfaces
The HK3 measures reliably even with coarse bulk solids and uneven product surfaces, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
Simple calibration and long service life
Calibration is carried out via the user-friendly Specter3 software and the NIR LEDs have a service life of approx. 10 years, which keeps maintenance costs to a minimum.
