Product description

The HK13 microwave resonator uses microwave technology to quickly and accurately determine the water content in various materials. The measurement uses electromagnetic energy stored in a resonator. This energy is coupled into the product via a non-conductive window (such as PP or Teflon). The stray field that is coupled into the product changes depending on the water content of the product and influences the resonance behavior of the resonator.

Several measurement parameters are used to determine the water content. It is particularly advantageous that one parameter is independent of density, which makes this technology ideal for measuring bulk solids. The measurement can be carried out directly on the belt, on pipes, in hoppers or on chutes.

What sets the HK13 apart

Microwave technology for precise moisture measurement

The microwave resonator technology enables fast and precise determination of the water content, ideal for various industrial applications.

No moving parts and maintenance-free

Thanks to its compact design and the absence of moving components, the HK13 microwave resonator is maintenance-free and wear-free, which guarantees its reliability over long periods of time.

Versatile application possibilities

The HK13 microwave resonator can be used at many different measuring points, such as pipes, chutes and funnels.

Density-independent measurement

The measuring method uses the ratio of bandwidth to resonant frequency, which makes it particularly suitable for measuring bulk materials, as the density of the material has no influence on the result.
